Key Accountabilities:
- Investment Analyst will be primarily responsible for fundamental research in order to assist fund managers in investment decision making.
- Fundamental research on companies listed on Pakistan Stock exchange and prepare investment recommendations on the basis of detailed financial models/spreadsheets.
- Prepare, update and maintain financial models of companies under coverage and update head of investment regarding impact of any change in the outlook.
- Keep update on the latest economic issues on daily basis and its implications on the capital markets; assist the head of investment in making strategic decision across different asset classes.
- Supervise and train the junior Investment Analyst team.
- Arrange and attend corporate meetings/analyst briefings on investee of investee companies.
- Coordination with sell side research houses with regards to latest updates on respective sectors/companies.
- Preparation of JLIC morning meeting reports, FMR, Funds’ performance and all other research products.
- Facilitate Head of research in achieving their departmental goals.
- Shariah screening/approvals from SA/Dividend purification etc.
- Managing research database on key input data for respective sectors.
Qualification, Experience & Skills:
- MBA/BBA/ACCA/MS&BS in Finance or Economics (CFA Level II Pass)
- Relevant 2-3 years experience in similar role
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent Communication & Writing Skills.
